Driver Charged With High-Range DUI in Murrumbateman

A man has been charged over an alleged drink driving incident in the state's south.

About 1.15pm on Monday 22 September, a 46-year-old man was driving a Holden Commodore sedan when it became bogged on the verge of MacIntosh Circuit.

Police from The Hume Police District attended soon afterwards and the man was subject to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result.

He was arrested and taken to Yass Police Station where a secondary breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.351.

He was issued a Court Attendance Notice for drive with high range prescribed concentration of alcohol and his licence was suspended.

He is due to appear before Yass Local Court on Thursday 30 October 2025.
