Driver Dies After Being Hit By Truck - Wahroonga

A driver has died after their truck rolled over them on Sydney's North Shore this morning.

About 4.25am (Thursday 12 March 2026), emergency services were called to the northbound on ramp of the Pacific Highway, Wahroonga, following reports of a crash.

Officers attached to Ku-Ring-Gai Police Area Command attended and were told a driver had been hit after their refrigerated truck had rolled onto them.

A nearby driver entered the vehicle and pulled the emergency brake to stop the truck from entering traffic.

The injured driver was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, they died at the scene.

The driver is yet to be formally identified.

Police have established a crime scene, and an investigation has commenced into the cause of the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
