A driver was reported after he was allegedly involved in a hit-run collision with a pedestrian in the CBD last night.
Police and paramedics responded to reports of a pedestrian hit by a car at the intersection of George Street and Hindley Street just before 11.30pm on Thursday 18 October.
The pedestrian, a 32-year-old man from Myrtle Bank, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The silver Holden Commodore sedan was stopped by the victim and a member of the public for a short time but continued driving east on Hindley Street.
Following investigations, police attended an address and arrested the alleged driver, a 48-year-old Greenwith man.
He was reported for driving without due care and failing to stop at the scene of a crash. He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
