Driver robbed and assaulted at Seaton, South Australia

Police are at the scene of a robbery at Seaton, where an Uber driver was assaulted and had his wallet stolen.

Just after 6pm on Thursday 7 March, police and ambulance crews were called to Olive Street after reports that a driver had stopped to let his male passenger out, when the male assaulted him with a knife before stealing his wallet and running away.

The driver's injuries are not life-threatening.

The suspect is described as being of African appearance, aged in his late teens, and was wearing a blue t-shirt with red stripes, hat and black pants, and was originally picked up by the Uber driver from North Haven.
