Driver robbed at Paralowie, South Australia

A woman has been arrested following a robbery overnight at Paralowie.

Just before 5am, Saturday 19 March, police were called to Waterloo Corner Road after a ride-share driver was allegedly threatened by a woman with a knife before she stole his phone. The victim, a 27-year-old from Park Holme, was thankfully not physically injured.

Patrols were quickly on scene and set up cordons at the same time a witness was providing information indicating the suspect had fled on foot to a nearby address. Police subsequently attended that address on Waterloo Corner Road and arrested the woman during which, she allegedly spat on three police officers.

The 22-year-old from Elizabeth South has been charged with aggravated robbery and three counts of assault a prescribed emergency worker. She has been refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday.
