A P-plater was lucky to escape serious injury when his car struck a tree and then rolled onto its roof on Hanson Road last night.
About 10.15pm on Monday 29 June police and emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle rollover crash where a Volkswagen station wagon had crashed into a tree at Hanson Road, Mansfield Park.
The sole occupant and driver, a 17-year-old Mansfield Park boy, was treated by SAAS at the scene for superficial injuries.
The vehicle was towed from the scene, and police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
