Port Stephens Council and Commercial Collective are hosting a free online event for investors on Tuesday 2 June 2026.
Raymond Terrace is being prioritised as a major residential and commercial hub for the Lower Hunter. The town sits ideally 15 minutes from Newcastle Airport, supported by the multibillion-dollar M1 Pacific Motorway extension.
Council is actively seeking investors for infill development, medium-density housing, and new retail projects to support a projected population increase of over 5,400 people.
The event gives attendees direct access to the experts and decision-makers leading the town's growth. Attendees will receive the data and planning context needed to make informed decisions and align their projects with the town's 20-year roadmap.
Port Stephens Mayor, Leah Anderson said the event is about showing the market that Raymond Terrace is open for business.
"We have the perfect mix for investors: a growing population, affordable land, and major projects like the M1 extension already moving. We're hosting this event to show you our 20-year roadmap, the Raymond Terrace Place Plan, and exactly how Council is clearing the way for new projects," Mayor Anderson said.
"Our Local Housing Strategy identifies the need for 2,500 new homes. Whether you are helping us meet that target or launching new retail and commercial hubs, we are ready to partner with you to unlock this town's massive potential."
Commercial Collective CEO Dane Crawford said the event will highlight exactly why Raymond Terrace is an ideal location to invest.
"We are excited to collaborate with Port Stephens Council to showcase the real data and strategic planning context behind the region's growth. This event highlights exactly why Raymond Terrace is an ideal place to invest, work, and build a business," Mr Crawford said.
The event will be held online on Tuesday 2 June 2026 from 2 pm to 3:30 pm. Registration is required. For event details, visit our events page.
