Police have charged three people after firearms and drugs were located during a search warrant in Deception Bay yesterday, 18 September.
Officers from Deception Bay Station executed a search warrant at a home and seized a sawn-off shotgun, various live ammunitions, firearm magazines, home-made firearm components, counterfeit money, steroids as well as dangerous drugs and drug utensils including cannabis, methylamphetamines, MDMA, heroin, and GHB.
A 35-year-old Deception Bay man has been charged with five counts of offence to buy or possess medicines or hazardous poisons, four counts of possessing dangerous drugs, and one count each of possess shortened firearms, authority required to possess explosives, possess relevant substances or things, possessing counterfeit money, possess utensils or pipes etc that had been used, and possess property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence.
He has been refused police bail and is due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court today, 19 September.
A 42-year-old Kallangur man has been charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs, and one count of possess property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence.
He has been issued a notice to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on 13 October.
A 21-year-old Buddina woman was charged with one count each of possess utensils or pipes etc. for use and possess property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence. She received a drug diversion.
