Drug and firearms seizure in Redcliffe, QLD

Moreton District Tactical Crime Squad have arrested a man in relation to the alleged seizure of drugs and firearms at a Redcliffe address today, Queensland Police say.

At about 10.40am, police executed a warrant at the Redcliffe address and allegedly located a large quantity of cash, 265 grams of Methylamphetamine, a shotgun, a handgun, police badge and handcuff key.

A 28-year-old Redcliffe man was charged with a number of offences including possession of a dangerous drug, possession of property suspected of being proceeds of a crime, possessing firearms and possession of explosives (ammunition).

The man will appear in the Redcliffe Magistrates Court on October 9.
