Drug arrest - Alice Springs

Members of the Southern Drug Investigations Unit have extradited a 49-year-old man from South Australia for drug offences.

It is alleged the man transported and supplied significant quantities of dangerous drugs to others in Alice Springs between June and October 2018, Northern Territory Police say.

He has been charged with:

  • Supply Methamphetamine
  • Supply Cannabis
  • Receive tainted property

The man is the fourth person arrested by officers from the Southern Drug Investigations unit in relation to this criminal network.

Three other people, a 29-year-old man, and two women aged 42 and 20 are before the court on drug related charges.

The man is scheduled to appear before the Alice Springs Local Court on Wednesday December 19.
