Drug Offences, Middle Ridge

Police have charged a man following ongoing investigations into drug offences in Toowoomba.

At around 2.30pm on Tuesday, 19 August, officers from the Darling Downs District Tactical Crime Squad executed a search warrant at a Middle Ridge address.

During the search it is alleged officers located 35.4 grams of methylamphetamine, MDMA tablets, ammunition, six thousand dollars in cash and other drug-related items.

A 40-year-old Middle Ridge man has been charged with three counts of possess dangerous drug and one count each of possession of property suspected of being the proceeds of an offence, possess anything used in the commission of a crime, possess utensils, fail to take care and precautions in respect of a syringe or needle and authority required to possess explosives.

He is due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court today, August 20.
