Drug supply and ammunition offences in Armidale

A woman has been charged with drug supply and other offences after drugs and ammunition were found during a vehicle stop in Armidale, NSW Police say.

About 7pm (Friday 23 November 2018), a 35-year-old woman was driving a Holden Astra on Douglas Street, Armidale, when she was pulled over by highway patrol officers.

Officers developed cause to search the vehicle, allegedly locating an amount of methamphetamine, numerous ecstasy tablets, an amount of cannabis, cocaine, LSG, speed, prescribed restricted substances, and ammunition.

She was taken to Armidale Police Station and charged with disqualified driving (second offence), possess prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug, possess prescribed restricted substance and possess ammunition without holding a licence.

She is expected to appear at Armidale Local Court on Monday 4 February 2019.

Inquiries continue and further charges are likely.
