Drugs and firearm located in Bulleen

Manningham Crime Investigation Unit detectives have seized drugs and a firearm following a search warrant in Bulleen this morning.

Detectives, with the assistance of a police narcotic detection dog, executed the warrant on Nirvana Crescent and located a number of substances alleged to be 1, 4 Butanediol, MDMA, and methylamphetamine.

Investigators also located a handgun during the search of the premises.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested at the scene.

She has been charged with possess an unregistered handgun, possess a drug of dependence, 2 counts of handle stolen goods, and commit an indictable offence while on bail.

The Bulleen woman was remanded in custody to appear at Heidelberg Magistrates' Court on 5 February.
