Drugs, Cash And Firearm Seized

Three people have been arrested after the search of a property in the South-Western suburbs.

On Friday 14 November, police searched a house in South Plympton. During the search, police located a loaded 0.22 calibre 3D printed pistol with a magazine containing six rounds, over $120,000 in cash, approximately 0.5kg of methamphetamine and approximately 400g of cocaine.

Two vehicles were also seized by investigators, in addition to further evidence of drug trafficking.

A 33-year-old man from Coober Pedy, a 31-year-old woman from Coober Pedy and a 33-year-old man from Beachport were arrested and charged with multiple offences including possess an unregistered firearm, knowingly engage in money laundering and traffic in a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug.

The arrested men did not apply for bail, and the woman was refused police bail. They will all appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday 17 November.
