Drugs, cash and stolen motorcycles seized in warrants in Melbournes’ south

Officers from the Caulfield Divisional Response Unit have executed two search warrants, arresting two people and seizing drugs and stolen property in Bayside Melbourne this morning.

Police executed simultaneous search warrants on a residence in Ormond and a storage facility in Moorabbin, just before 9.30am.

A 40-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested at the North Road, Ormond address and seized items including:

• methylamphetamine

• MDMA

• cannabis

• prescription medication,

• butendiol

• cash

• stolen motorcycle

Additional items were seized at the Wren Road, Moorabbin storage facility including:

• methylamphetamine

• prescription drugs,

• prohibited weapons

• a handgun

• a large quantity of stolen power tools

• stolen motorbike

The Ormond pair taken into custody are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
