Drugs, Cash And Weapons Seized During Northfield Search

A man has been arrested after a search of his home uncovered several items of interest to police.

Just before 10pm Tuesday 25 November, Western District investigators attended a Northfield home and conducted a search. It will be alleged that police uncovered and seized cannabis, suboxone strips, illegal steroids, drug equipment, over $2000 in cash, various stolen identity cards, and multiple illegal knives.

A 44-year-old man from the address was arrested and charged with breach of bail, three counts of possessing a controlled drug, two counts of possessing a prescription drug, possessing drug equipment, unlawful possession and possessing a prohibited weapon. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today, Wednesday 26 November.
