Drugs, firearm and ammunition seized at Nar Nar Goon

Dandenong Frontline Tactical Unit officers and detectives from the Drug Taskforce have today arrested a man and seized drugs, ammunition and a firearm in Nar Nar Goon (24 September), Victoria Police say.

A warrant was executed at a residential address shortly before 9am this morning, with police locating and seizing a rifle, ammunition and a commercial quantity of cannabis.

It is alleged the cannabis was cultivated using stolen electricity.

A 58-year-old Nar Nar Goon man was intercepted and arrested nearby.

He has been charged with multiple offences including cultivate narcotic plant, possess drug of dependence, traffick drug of dependence, firearm and theft offences.

He has been remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
