Drugs seized, man charged, NSW

A man will face court today after police executed a search warrant at a home on the State’s Central Coast yesterday, NSW Police say.

Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a home on Gilbert Street, Long Jetty, about 2pm today.

During the search, police allegedly located cash, amphetamine and growth hormones.

The items were seized and will undergo forensic examinations.

A 37-year-old man was arrested and taken to Wyong Police Station.

He was charged with supply prohibited drug, possess prescribed restricted substance and possess prohibited drug.

The man was refused basil to appear at Wyong Local Court tomorrow.
