A man has been arrested after police located drugs, weapons and cash during an intercept in Melbourne East overnight.
Patrolling police officers intercepted a vehicle on Wellington Parade just after 1am.
A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly located various amounts of what is believed to be methylamphetamine, cocaine, heroin and cannabis.
Officers also located two conducted energy devices, a machete and a large amount of cash.
A 31-year-old Carlton man was arrested and charged with traffick drug of dependence, possess drug of dependence, possess prohibited weapon, possess proceeds of crime and possess dangerous article.
He has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 28 February 2022.
