DTU continues to lead the way in technical research and education.
The latest results from the prestigious Shanghai Ranking cements this position, and puts DTU among the world's elite universities.
DTU's position is up slightly in Europe to number 49-73, up from 52-74 last year. Globally, DTU's rank remains unchanged at 151-200 out of more than 2,500 universities surveyed.
When it comes to biotechnology, DTU ranks 5th in the world on Shanghai Ranking. Harvard University tops the list followed by the three Chinese universities Tsinghua, Jiangnan, and Shanghai Jiao Tong. The ranking on specific academic subjects will be updated in November 2025.
