Dubbo Regional Airport is experiencing an increased demand for car parking. To accommodate the increase, an overflow car park will be available with entry and exit to the overflow car park via Arthur Butler Drive.
To facilitate safe movement of passengers from the overflow car park to the terminal, a temporary closure will occur to facilitate the construction of accessible ramps, speed bumps and pedestrian crossings. Traffic exiting the airport will be temporarily redirected through the existing main car park. Passengers will be able to access the pedestrian crossing from the overflow car park.
The traffic redirection for cars exiting the airport will commence on Monday 20 April. Detour signage will be in place. Normal traffic movement and reopening of the ring road will occur from Tuesday 28 April.
