Two males have been charged following their arrests in Mount Waverley this morning.
Police observed a black Lexus with allegedly stolen plates in Dandenong this morning about 1.20am.
Officers attempted to intercept the vehicle before it sped off towards Melbourne's east.
Air Wing was called in and followed the Lexus to Churcher Court and Parkinson Street in Mount Waverley where it was abandoned.
The Dog Squad and the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) responded quickly to assist uniform officers who swarmed the area to locate the occupants.
A teenage boy was located by a police dog nearby and taken into custody, with a second man arrested shortly after.
