E-bike Teen Nabbed Inside Seaford Shopping Center

A boy will face court after riding through a shopping centre on Friday evening.

About 6pm on Friday 28 August, police were called to a shopping centre on Commercial Road after reports of youths riding on e-bikes and e-scooters in the complex and harassing shoppers.

Police attended and moved a group away from the area.

One boy, a 16-year-old from Port Willunga was arrested and charged with riding without a license and riding an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.

He was granted bail and will attend the Christies Beach Youth Court at a later date.

South Australia Police reminds riders of e-bikes and e-scooters that they must obey road rules and ride responsibly. Anti-social, dangerous and intimidating behaviour in public places will not be tolerated.
