Living in an apartment or shared property?
If you live in an apartment or multi-unit development, your property may have a different waste service. Please check with your property or facility manager to confirm your waste collection details.
Annual hard waste collection (eligible properties)
This year's annual hard waste collection runs July–September 2026. Eligible properties will receive the hard waste flyer in their letterbox around 2 weeks before your collection date, with accepted items and instructions.

Residents in apartment buildings, aged care or other multi-unit dwellings may NOT be eligible. Please check with your building's facility manager or body corporate before putting items out for collection.
Translations (available mid-May)
Translated versions of the waste calendar will be available to download online by mid-May in the following languages:

- Italian – Italiano
Why we print on paper
To help reduce waste, the waste calendar is printed on paper and delivered with the Monash Bulletin every year to Monash households.
If you don't need it, please place it in your recycling bin rather than sending it to landfill.
