Easter message is one of hope in the face of social Isolation, mental wellbeing and emotional well being

With the Covid-19 pandemic in full swing around the world and the Government requirements for social distancing, social isolation and mental health issues are rising dramatically.

"We are observing greater levels of depression, anxiety, loneliness, poor sleep quality and fearfulness," said Pastor Greenwood Lead Pastor Influencers Church Adelaide.

"Research shows us that all of these disorders are precursors to suicide and in the current world crisis and social isolation people are finding it difficult to connect with others.

"In the current messiness of the world, the Easter message is a message of hope.

"There is current darkness but the hope we have is that this doesn't last because Jesus is the light of the world.

"Although people are fearful now, the Easter message is one of comfort through Jesus' death and resurrection" Ps Greenwood concluded.
