Echo Taskforce detectives this morning executed five search warrants in Donvale, Pakenham, Officer, Hallam and Dandenong South in relation to the non-fatal shooting of a man in Carrum Downs on earlier this month, Victoria Police say.
The 39-year-old Cranbourne man was found with a gunshot wound to his leg in Robinson Road about 1.30pm on 1 October.
A 29-year-old Donvale man and a 27-year-old Officer man were arrested and are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
A 22-year-old Pakenham man and a 19-year-old Pakenham woman were arrested in relation to drug offences, unrelated to the shooting.
The pair is also assisting police with their enquiries.
