Echoview Software wins Australian Export Award in Digital Technologies Category

Congratulations to Echoview Software who took out the Digital Technologies Award at the 56th Australian Export Awards.

Hobart-based Echoview specialises in hydroacoustic data visualisation and analysis software that assesses fish populations for stock assessment and sustainability studies. Echoview Software has customers in more than 65 countries and 95 per cent of their business comes from export sales.

I also congratulate all the Tasmanian finalists who represented our State so strongly on the national stage.

The latest international merchandise exports figures confirm global demand for Tasmanian products continues to surge with the annual export growth rate reaching 26 per cent, three times the national rate.

The Tasmanian Government is committed to expanding and developing international markets for Tasmanian businesses to export their world-class goods and services globally.

We are getting on with the job of delivering on our Plan and implementing policies which grow the economy and assist Tasmanian businesses enter new markets, unlock investment and create more jobs.
