Campaspe Libraries is once again hosting its annual Echuca Moama Discovery Day on Saturday, 14 March between 10am - 1pm, and is calling for organisations who are interested to register as a stallholder.
The day provides an opportunity for community organisations, sports clubs, service clubs, volunteer groups and not-for-profit groups to showcase their activities and attract new people to their groups.
Campaspe Shire Mayor Cr Daniel Mackrell said the event continues to be an important showcase for the many community groups that enrich life across Campaspe.
"Our Discovery Day brings so many local groups together in one place, giving them the chance to connect with people who may be looking for a new hobby, support network or social outlet.
"If you're part of a club or organisation that wants to share what you do, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved," Cr Mackrell said.
He said the event remains a welcoming space for both long-term locals and new residents.
"Whether you've lived here for decades or have only recently moved to the region, Discovery Day makes it easy to learn about the incredible range of groups active in our community," he said.
Cr Mackrell emphasised the event's role in fostering community spirit and encouraging volunteering.
"Volunteers play a critical role in keeping our towns vibrant and resilient. Their contributions are invaluable, and there are so many rewarding ways to get involved.
"This event is a great chance for people to explore how they can lend a hand, meet others, and strengthen the connections that make our community such a special place," Cr Mackrell said.
