Vlaeminck returns to national set up as eight Victorians selected in Women's Ashes squads

Eight Victorians have been selected in Australia's squads to travel to the Ashes in June, five of those are in the Australian 15-player squad and three in the Australia A squad.

Meg Lanning will lead the Australian squad that also features Kim Garth, Ellyse Perry, Annabel Sutherland and Georgia Wareham.

Australia will play one Test match, three T20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals in the multi-format series from mid-June to mid-July.

Tayla Vlaeminck continues with her rehabilitation from a significant foot injury and has been selected in the Australia A squad alongside Nicole Faltum and Tess Flintoff.

The Australia A squad, which includes a mix of senior and developing young players, will play three T20s and three 50-over fixtures which run concurrently to the Ashes.

In addition, Australia and England will each play a three-day warm-up match against England A and Australia A respectively, in preparation for the Test match which begins on June 22 at Trent Bridge.
