An elderly man reported missing from Stanhope Gardens has been located.
The 89-year-old was last seen at a home at Stanhope Gardens, just before midnight yesterday (Tuesday 20 September 2022).
When he wasn't home this morning and could not be located, officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.
Following an appeal, including an SMS geo-targeted alert, the man was found safe and well at Ryde about 11am today (Wednesday 21 September 2022).
Police thank the community and media for their assistance.
