A woman missing from Sydney's south has been found safe and well.
The 89-year-old woman was last seen at an aged-care facility in Woolcott Street, Earlwood, about 5pm on Monday 2 January 2023.
When she could not be located and family could not get in contact with her, she was reported missing to officers from Burwood Police Area Command, who commenced an investigation into her whereabouts.
Following inquiries and a geo-target SMS appeal, a member of the public recognised the woman on Arthur Street, Bexley, about 10.30am today (Tuesday 3 January 2023) and contacted police.
