Emergency Crews Responding To House Fire, Mackay

Police are investigating following a suspicious house fire in Mackay this morning, June 9.

Emergency services were called to the Goldsmith Street property just after 2.30am to reports of a house fire.

Upon arrival, a 33-year-old Mackay man was located with non-life-threatening injuries.

He was transported to Mackay Base Hospital for treatment.

A crime scene was declared, and investigations are ongoing.
