Emergency crews responding to house fire - North Sydney

Officers from North Shore Police Area Command have established a crime scene at a home damaged by fire yesterday.

About 6.15pm (Sunday 2 June 2019), emergency services were called to a house on Ormiston Avenue, North Sydney, following reports a house was well alight.

On arrival Fire and Rescue NSW officers assisted two occupants from the home that was engulfed in flames.

The fire was extinguished with no reported injuries. A crime scene will remain in place until the arrival of specialist investigators today (Monday 3 June 2019).

NSW Fire and Rescue investigators and detectives from North Shore Police Area Command will conduct a full investigation into the cause of the fire.

At this stage there appears top be no suspicious circumstances.
