Following the success of last years' event, the Employment Expo is returning this October with job seekers invited to discover new local learning and employment opportunities.
This free community event will provide the opportunity for businesses to showcase their services, engage with local jobseekers directly, discuss current vacancies, and offer advice to job seekers on the skills required to work in various industries.
Local businesses are encouraged to make the most of this unique opportunity to promote their business and attract potential employees.
Job seekers can access support with resume-writing skills, connect and network with potential employers and training providers, and explore and apply for available local jobs.
Mayor of Baw Baw Shire Councillor Danny Goss is encouraging anyone interested to come along and explore what's on offer.
"The expo last year was well attended by local service providers and job seekers who were able to connect and create new opportunities for work in our community. This year we will also be celebrating the launch of the Gippsland Jobs Hub, a free platform for employers to advertise local employment opportunities", said Cr Goss.
East Ward Councillor Brendan Kingwill said the expo will feature a variety of career opportunities based in Baw Baw Shire and beyond.
"From entry levels roles in retail, hospitality and administration, to opportunities in agriculture and other specialist fields, this is an expo that no keen job seeker should miss", said Cr Kingwill.

There will be 100 free coffee vouchers up for grabs on the day, and a free sausage sizzle as well.
