March marks the end of the outdoor public swimming pool season in the Snowy Monaro. Adaminaby Pool is now closed and Council has extended the Berridale Pool season until Sunday 29 March 2026 due to pool closures in Bombala and Cooma.
Free admission remains in place at Berridale Pool until the end of the season, open 10am to 7pm on weekends, weekdays from 7am to 8am for lap swimming, and 1pm to 7pm on weekdays for general admission.
As previously announced, Council is refunding eligible Adaminaby and Berridale pool season pass holders. Council will contact customers directly to arrange refunds.
Cooma and Bombala public pools will not open this swim season due to ongoing upgrade works at these facilities. Council continues to work closely with the contractor and subcontractors on the completion of these important projects.
The Jindabyne indoor swimming pool remains open year-round for swimmers looking to keep their laps up over autumn and winter.
