Applications are now open for three-year-old and four-year-old preschool in 2023.
Families can apply online via the Council website or by posting a hard copy form. The State Government funds preschool programs for all three and four–year-old children across Victoria.
In 2023 three-year-olds in Nillumbik will be able to access between five and 15 hours of funded of preschool per week in a program led by a qualified teacher, and four-year-old preschool programs will continue to offer 15 hours.
Council centrally manages preschool registrations for the 16 standalone preschools in Nillumbik that operate from Council-owned or managed buildings.
Council collects applications, registers children in the central registration system, allocates a preschool place to the child and liaises with families in relation to their registration.
