EOI extended for Seniors Festival event holders - Wollongong

Want to help celebrate our older community? Consider putting your event forward for Wollongong's Seniors Festival 2022 today.

Council has extended the call out for people to have their event included in this year's festival until Sunday 13 February. This festival will take place from 25 March to 3 April with the theme 'Reconnect'.

The array of events held in Wollongong during this week provides our older community a diverse and exciting opportunity to celebrate in various ways.

We're encouraging a mix of both virtual and face-to-face programs, with a focus on smaller outdoor activities where possible. This includes events such as workshops, classes, or social events. If you choose to put your event forward, please ensure it follows COVID-safe practices to keep our senior community safe.

The annual Senior's Festival acknowledges and celebrates older people in our community. It is aimed for people over 60, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people over the age of 50, and people over 50 that have a lifelong disability.
