Edward River is set to come alive this March as the NSW Seniors Festival 2026 brings a burst of colour, creativity and community spirit to the region.
Celebrating its 68th year, the festival recognises the enormous contribution older people make across NSW and encourages seniors to stay active, connected and inspired through a variety of engaging, free events.
Mayor Ashley Hall said the program offers seniors a chance to "get out, try something new and enjoy the wonderful experiences our region has to offer."
"Our seniors are the heart of our community; they bring wisdom, joy and resilience," Mayor Hall said. "We're proud to celebrate them with a festival that brings our theme, 'Live life in colour,' to life."
This year's program is delivered through a partnership between Edward River Council, Intereach and U3A, and is funded by the NSW Government.
