Escape from Willow Cree Healing Lodge

On October 28, 2018, at approximately 2:30 p.m., staff members at Willow Cree Healing lodge, a minimum security federal institution, discovered that Louis Bonneau was not accounted for.

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) immediately contacted the Rosthern detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Louis Bonneau is 33 years old, measures 178 cm (5'10") in height and weighs 94 kg (208 lbs). He has a medium complexion, brown eyes and brown hair. He is currently serving a sentence of 3 years, 2 months, 23 days for Possession of Schedule I Substance, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of Prohibited/Restricted firearm with Ammunition, Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purposes, Fail to Comply with Conditions of undertaking/recognizance, and Fail to Attend Court.

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Louis Bonneau is asked to contact police.

CSC will investigate the circumstances of this incident and is working with the police to locate the offender as quickly as possible.

CSC has given the police all of the information available to help arrest the inmate.
