Northern Territory Police are searching for a prisoner who escaped from Alice Springs Hospital this morning.
Rodney Turner, a 20-year-old male, is believed to have run into the Todd River, Northern Territory Police say.
He is described as an Indigenous male, 170cm tall, of slim build, 80kg, with curly dark hair He was last seen wearing blue prison issue shoes, blue shorts, a blue bucket hat, and a blue, white, and red AFL, jersey. He also has his left arm in a sling.
He is not believed to be dangerous.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr Turner is asked to notify police immediately on 131444 or Crime Stoppers.
