Examiners approved to conduct proficiency checks

CASA has approved more than 40 flight examiners to conduct the checks. We've published over 30 names, contacts and locations of examiners who have agreed to have their details listed on the CASA website.

The move is an initiative of the General Aviation Workplan which aims to reduce burden on general aviation. In the coming months there will be more improvements, including a framework to enable the flight examiner rating course (FERC) to be delivered by industry.

New version of handbook

We've published version 3.2 of the Flight Examiner Handbook. It describes improvements to the CASA FERC in chapter 2 and includes the myCASA portal post-test administration in chapters 5 to 10.
