Expressions of interest are now open for stallholders at Council's 2026 Bushfire and Community Safety Expo.
We invite community organisations, emergency services and agencies, local businesses, food vendors, and not-for-profit groups to apply today to be part of this important community event.
Taking place on Sunday 18 October from 10am - 2pm at Alistair Knox Park, Eltham, the free family-friendly event will bring together residents, emergency services, community groups and local businesses to promote bushfire preparedness, community safety, emergency readiness and wellbeing ahead of the summer season. This year's event has expanded to include a broader range of community safety topics, including bushfire preparedness, emergency management, e-bike safety and community resilience.
The Expo will feature emergency services displays, practical safety information, , children's activities, and expert advice, creating a vibrant and engaging event for residents of all ages.
Council is seeking stallholders who can help inform, educate or engage the community on safety, preparedness, wellbeing and resilience.
The event provides a valuable opportunity for organisations to:
- connect directly with local residents
- showcase programs, products and services
- share expertise and practical advice
- strengthen community awareness and preparedness
- support a key annual community safety initiative.
There is no cost to host a stall.
Expressions of Interest are now open and close on Sunday 6 September 2026.
Please note that submitting an EOI does not guarantee a stall allocation. Applicants will be notified of the outcome shortly after the closing date.
