A man has been charged with speeding in a school zone, high-range drink-driving and driving with an expired license on Sydney’s lower north shore yesterday, NSW Police say.
Just after 3.15pm (Wednesday 31 October 2018), Traffic and Highway Patrol Officers were patrolling the Pacific Highway, North Sydney, when they detected a blue Toyota Camry allegedly exceeding the 40km/h school zone limit.
The driver was stopped and produced a license that was expired. He was then subjected to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result.
The 43-year-old man was arrested and taken to Chatswood Police Station where he returned an alleged breath analysis reading of 0.246.
He was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice for the offences of exceed speed limit over 20km/h in school zone, license expired less than 2 years before and drive with high-range PCA.
His license has been suspended.
He is due to appear at Manly Local Court on Thursday 29 November 2018.
