Volunteering WA undertakes a range of consultancy projects for volunteer involving organisations (VIOs). These projects address the specific volunteer related goals and circumstances of the organisation concerned. Past projects have involved developing documentation (e.g. handbook), evaluating work flow and recruitment processes, national standards reviews, developing volunteering strategies and management plans.
To support the growth in this service, Volunteering WA is seeking to establish a group of experienced and qualified volunteer management professionals, who would be available to work with us on future consultancy projects.
Projects may take a few days, a few weeks or months depending on the scope and the time frames required by clients. The projects would be matched to the skills and interests of the consultant. In most cases, consultants would need to be available two (or more) days a week, and be available during business hours for meetings with clients and Volunteering WA. Some travel may be required.
Volunteering WA is seeking
We are looking for people who embrace the vision and values of Volunteering WA, who can hit the ground running, work autonomously and in collaboration with Volunteering WA.
You will bring an advanced and diverse range of subject knowledge, sector experience, technical and personal skills and have an aptitude for consultancy work with a mature and professional approach.
Knowledge and experience of human centred design processes or other relevant approaches to developing solutions would be highly valuable.
As the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement underpin all our work either directly or indirectly, you will need to be well versed in using these in your work.
