Council will invest $1.7 million to improve customer safety when disposing hazardous waste and chemicals at the Portsmith Transfer Station.
The improvements will reduce waiting times, enhance traffic flow and safety, and meet the growing demand and operational requirements at the site.
The works are scheduled to be completed by 30 June 2022.
