A 32-year-old male has been released into the custody of Victoria Police today after Northern Territory Police arrested him on an interstate warrant on 15 June 2018.
Yesterday, NT Police and detectives from Victoria Police appeared before the Tennant Creek Local Court in relation to an extradition application. The application was approved and the male was remanded into police custody before being transported to the Alice Springs Watch House, Northern Territory Police say
The man was released at 10:45am today to be conveyed to Victoria to face charges of deprivation of liberty.
