Extreme fun is back at Penrith

The re-opening comes in time for the school holidays and provides western Sydney residents with an exciting extreme sport option at the foot of the Blue Mountains.

Already a training base for Australia's elite paddlers, including Olympic Gold Medalist and World Champion, Jess Fox, Penrith Whitewater Stadium officially re-opens to the public on Friday, 29 September with children over 12 and adults able to enjoy rafting on the rapids at the Stadium.

All rafters receive a safety briefing, followed by flatwater instruction before venturing onto the whitewater, with each raft holding up to eight people, including an experienced river guide. Bookings are essential. Visit https://www.sport.nsw.gov.au/penrithwhitewater
