Facial composite released after sexual assault at St Albans Park

Sexual Crimes Squad detectives have released a facial composite following a sexual assault at an aged care facility in the Geelong suburb of St Albans Park early this morning.

A 90-year-old woman woke to find a man sexually assaulting her at the Aldershot Road address about 4.45am.

A staff member disturbed the offender and he ran off.

The female victim was taken to hospital.

The Dog Squad attended to search the surrounding area however the offender was unable to be located.

The offender is described as being aged between 20 and 25 years old, fair skinned, thin build, around 163 cm tall and was wearing dark-coloured pants, a dark-coloured long-sleeve t-shirt and a red beanie.

Detectives are urging any residents, businesses or anyone passing through the surrounding area that has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
