Facilities and services reopening update

Playgrounds in the shire will reopen from Monday, and shire libraries will be able to offer a 'Click and Collect' service, as pandemic restrictions ease.

Signage at the reopened facilities will urge community members to comply with physical distancing directions and to practise good hand hygiene.

From Monday 14 September 2020, the Victorian Government has relaxed restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic under its 'Roadmap to Recovery' for regional Victoria.

Council will look to reopen other community facilities in line with government advice and following appropriate risk assessment processes. Restrictions will be in place as appropriate to ensure the health and safety of the community.

While outdoor pools are able to open from Monday, Council's outdoor pools, which traditionally open only in the summer months, are not ready for use and will remain closed.

Keep up to date on Council's service changes and closures.
