An exhibition celebrating the creative achievements of 2025 Year 12 Visual Arts students from across the Far West region will open at the Albert Kersten Mining and Mineral Museum (GeoCentre) on Friday 5th December at 5pm.

Presented by the Broken Hill City Art Gallery, the HSC Art Show brings together artworks developed as part of students' final year of secondary education.

The exhibition features work from Willyama High School, Broken Hill High School, Menindee Central School, and Wilcannia Central School, highlighting the depth of talent within regional schools and the diverse perspectives that have shaped each student's artistic practice.

Showcasing a wide range of media, each artwork reflects the individual interests, influences, and investigations pursued by students throughout their final senior year.

The HSC Art Show also reinforces the importance of visual arts education in the Far West, acknowledging the dedication of regional teachers and the valuable role of community support in nurturing young people's creative development, critical thinking, and expressive confidence.

The exhibition will run from 5th December 2025 to 15th February 2026.
